- Read ChemMatters magazine article about the chemistry of fireworks; read another article or two of your choosing (there is good one about forensics -- or crime-solving chemistry)
- Optional test corrections are due from the Chapter 3 and 7 test. You are not required to do the corrections; it counts as a homework check, though, to simply hand the test back.
- We will be starting on Chapter 5. If you have time, you should start reading it (about the periodic table and trends).
