Chem D - worksheet on OneNote

2018-2019

Chemistry (D)

Date Due

Oct. 29, 2018

Additional Info
  • Finish the POGIL activity if you didn't in class, including the extension (but not the last Q, although it's a good one!)
  • Read the textbook, Chapter 7, section 1 -- to make sure you are understanding what you need to about how to write formulas and name ionic compounds
  • Complete HALF* of the 2-sided worksheet in OneNote called "Naming Ionic Compounds."  Remember to USE a periodic table AND the common ion sheet as you work. Remember to write the symbol and charge FIRST, off to the side; THEN assemble them so that the charges balance out. Compounds should be 'neutral.'
  • *By "half," I mean that for each section of the worksheet, you should do half of each column.  You can do some in order, or you can do every "other" one -- as long as you are hitting both columns.
  • Looking ahead, start to memorize your common ion sheet for Wednesday's quiz.
