    • Finish the POGIL activity on naming molecular compounds, if you didn't already finish in class. It is posted in OneNote for anyone who is absent. You do NOT need to do the extension for now.
    • Correct the worksheet just due on naming ionic compounds - 2-sided, if you didn't complete the careful corrections during class. The answer key is posted on OneNote. Use a different colored pen to make corrections.
    • New! Do the 2-sided worksheet called "Naming compounds worksheet II - no acids, no hydrates" It is posted in OneNote. Start with the 2nd page first; then do about half of the front page, any 20 you wish. Helpful hint(s): 1.) Identify each compound as "ionic" or "covalent" aka "molecular" 2.) If a compound IS ionic, be sure to write the symbols and charges off to the side FIRST-- THEN write the compound's final formula on the line. 3.) On the front side, feel free to do any 20 out of the 40 provided. Remember, the purpose is to get good practice.
    • You should also be studying your common ions for the quiz on Wednesday!
    • By now, you should have read the 1st section of Chapter 7 (7.1).
