  • Chapter 6 Topics of "resonance, "sigma and pi bonding" and the 3 IMFs of "H-bonding, dipole-dipole, and London dispersion forces" will NOT be included, but other Chapter 6 topics are fair game.
  • Bring along a calculator and a pen or pencil as well as your tests to return.
  • You may also bring along a 3x5" note card, with one side written or typed individually by you, with notes on any chapter 6 notes you'd like to have.

  • Multiple Choice Test with ANSWERS at the end
  • Short Answer Question samples

  • Bonding Review Worksheet with answer key

SUGGESTED PREPARATION:

  • Go over your notes, handouts, homework, quizzes, and/or tests from each chapter. Try practice problems, rather than just "skimming." Take the practice test materials that are posted on OneNote, and check your answers. Make sure you memorize relevant equations from the electron chapter. You will be provided with a periodic table, common ions, and constants, such as Planck's constant and the speed of light. You should know values like Avogadro's number and the metric prefixes.
