  • Read the article about Pasteur's serendipitous discovery and then the chilling article about "thalidomide" by Roald Hoffman. These are posted on OneNote as one packet. They relate directly to our activity on optical isomers! 
  • Do the organic worksheet - 2 pages, 2-sided - posted in the homework section of OneNote. We will covering this material during G bell on Monday.
  • Before completing the worksheet, you will need to REVIEW the functional groups by studying the packet you were given and/or Chapter 22. "Aromatic" means anything with a benzene ring. For any of them that you can, try to NAME them as well as identify the type of functional group.
