Additional Info
  • Make sure you have corrected the 3 thermochem Real APs in a different colored stylus using the key posted on Moodle
  • Continue working on Albert io Qs --- you should have completed at least 25 more Qs by this Sunday at 6 pm (a total of 50 by now)
  • Optional other things for you to do, to ensure an excellent understanding of thermochemistry before we leave it behind:
    • Do some additional AP Qs which are posted on Moodle, along with answer keys; the short answer one from the 2015 test is a good one! (as are the others)
    • Take the multiple choice practice tests, posted on Moodle with answer keys...
  • Look at the handout from Chemmybear with check-off boxes of what, exactly, you need to know about electrochemistry; it will guide your learning throughout the chapter
  • Do the 3 Norton Tutorials linked from Moodle (in the electrochem section)
  • Read as much as you can of Chapter 18 on Electrochemistry -- especially what we are covering now: electrochemical (or voltaic or galvanic) cells. We need to FINISH Chapter 18 by the end of this week (by Thursday 4/20).
  • Work hard on reviewing--on your own or in a small study group. It's been a long time since we've done the orders of reaction in kinetics, or Graham's Law of Diffusion, or determining an empirical formula, etc. You need to be remembering and PRACTICING the problems you used to know how to do at the start of the class in September.... To me, "practicing" means with a pen and paper--not just "re-reading"
