AP Chem G -- Real APs, practice MC Qs, etc.

2018-2019

AP Chemistry (G)

Date Due

April 19, 2018

Additional Info
  • By now, you should have finished reading Chapter 18 on Electrochemistry -- including galvanic and electrolytic cells, the Faraday, the Nernst equation, and applications, such as electroplating and corrosion
  • Complete the 2 Real APs handed out in class --from 2015 -- a galvanic cell (with a picture) and 2014, an electrolytic cell (also with a picture).  You should write ON SEPARATE PAPER, numbering exactly as they do.  You would have 23 minutes for each problem on the real exam.
  • Recommended, as time allows:  Complete as much as you can of the 2 2-sided multiple choice "tests" with answer keys on the back; show work or scribbles on each problem that requires some thought, and CIRCLE or STAR the ones you are missing or don't understand, so we know what we need to go over in class; they are posted on OneNote.
  • If any time remains, read the "Electrochemical Errors" article and/or continue working on albert i.o. -- with the plan of doing 25 more by this weekend (for a total of at least 75).
  • Optional:  Quest corrections from Ch. 15 - by next week
