AP Chemistry (G)

Date Due

March 6, 2018

Additional Info
  • Make corrections to Chapter 14 -- the 4 sets we've done -- using the answer key posted on Moodle
  • Work on the Crystal Violet Lab -- Using the directions posted on ONE NOTE; you have already done most of the work for it
  • Begin Chapter 15 by doing the Norton Tutorials on Buffers and Titrations --posted on Moodle for Chapter 14-15 (the Chap 15 portion of the same section); click third tour from the bottom on buffers; then do the two titration tutorials on the bottom (as time allows)
  • Those of you taking the National Chemistry Olympiad test next Wednesday (and anyone else who wants to) should make the time to........Do the National Chem Olympiad Qs posted on OneNote....The only Q that might stump you completely at this point is #42; the rest are ones I think you could reason through, perhaps with a little review of organic functional groups?
  • As time permits, you will want to be reading Chapter 15 SLOWLY. Some students consider it to be the hardest material of the year. I think it is just an extension of what we've already learned -- incorporating LeChatelier's Principle, strong vs. weak acid equilibrium, the common ion effect, and acid-base neutralization.
