AP Chem G - (Double) - LAB; Print Graphs; Work on buffers, Ch. 15 set 1
2018-2019
Date Due
March 12, 2018
Additional Info
- Please PRINT OUT your graphs from the titration lab the other day. We need them for class. Be sure to change your y axis so it goes from 0-14 (if it doesn't already), and be sure to change the title to reflect WHICH acid and WHICH base you used. (Example: "Titration of .1 M HCl with .1 M NaOH")
- Optional/Recommended: Depending on your comprehension of buffers from the POGIL activity and class: Continue your understanding of buffers and buffer problems by doing THREE screencasts posted on Moodle --- the Norton tutorial on buffers (which you may have done already); then my two screencasts on an introduction to buffers (feel free to skim if you understood the POGIL activity and class explanations) and the Henderson Hasselbalch equation (this one is excellent, if I don't say so myself!)
- Read 15.1-15.3 in your text on buffers, if you haven't already
- Do Ch. 15 SET 1 exercises: p. 751-3#17-19, 21, 23, 32, 36, 44a,c, 47, and 51.
- For those taking the National Chemistry Olympiad test on Wednesday, this weekend is a perfect time to practice NChO Qs and/or bring questions in to ask about -- if you have taken a practice test or two
- We will be doing a quantitative titration in class!
