  • Log into Moodle and watch the screencast on "factor-label" method of problem-solving. Feel free to skim if it is all review for you.
  • Complete the Chapter 1 Exercises on p. 34-40 . (Part 1 was posted on Friday's portal.) For Part 2, use factor label and SHOW WORK where relevant: #39 c,e #40d-e, 49, 54, 59a, 60a, 65, 72, 75, 79, 81, 83, 87-88, 92, 99, and for an optional extra challenge if you have time....110, 111, 115.

  • We will spend much of the lab time finishing up the lab -- all except the final massing. It is a messy​ operation (with lots of spraying water sometimes), so don't wear your best clothes.
