  • Please do the "Coulombic Attraction" POGIL activity you were given at the end of lab. I won't collect it for a grade, but you REALLY need to understand this IMPORTANT concept, which is the "under-pinning" of the Set 3 problems.  Feel free to work with a friend, so you can talk about it as you go.  We will go over it in class and then we will be covering one of the final pieces of the chapter on "Photo-electron Spectroscopy" via another POGIL activity.
  • You should be finished reading Chapter 7 -- including the last sections on periodicity
  • complete Chapter 7 Set 3: p 346-8 # 106, #108, 112, 116-117, 120, 125a,c,d, 133-134, 135
  • We are now FINISHED with Chapter 7, and we will be starting Chapter 8 soon on BONDING and MOLECULAR SHAPES!
