AP Chem G - (Updated!); Lab calcs; Make a big dent in Ch. 17!

2018-2019

AP Chemistry (G)

Date Due

April 10, 2019

Additional Info
  • Do some "quick and dirty" lab calculations from your acid/base titration lab -- the standardization of NaOH -- and see what value (to 4 sig figs?) you are getting for the concentration of the NaOH; if you have 2 good runs, you would average them to get a better value
  • Start studying for Thursday's quest on Ch. 15 -- many resources and practice MC tests are posted on OneNoteĀ
  • Do the excellent Norton Tutorials for Thermochemistry (Ch. 17) posted on OneNote. If you have trouble viewing them, try using a different browser, like Firefox instead of Chrome. (You may have completed this as well...)
  • Read Textbook Chapter 17 on Thermodynamics. Get as far as you can. I think I typically spend 3-4 days on this topic -- not more. Some of this should be review from AP Bio --- about delta H, delta S, and delta G.
  • You should be working on Albert i.o., completing 25 more Qs by Friday (roughly 5 per day, each day from now until the AP exam). I will check it on Sundays by dinnertime for the previous week. Use this as an excellent tool to review topics that are challenging. I suggest choosing the "medium" or "difficult" questions for a good portion of the time, in order to get the most benefit.
