  • Do exercise 6-2 in packet; Rather than doing "condensed" drawings, you should draw out the "skeletal" structure, showing C atoms, pegs for the H atoms, and any -OH, -Cl, etc.; if you can, take a stab at doing quick "line drawings" as well
  • Read the article about Pasteur's serendipitous discovery and then the chilling article about "thalidomide" by Roald Hoffman. These are posted on Moodle as one packet. They relate directly to our activity on optical isomers!
