I am so sorry that I am not there today for our final lesson before half term - ¡Qué triste!

In the first half of the lesson you will be completing the end of unit reading and listening assessment. Please complete these on paper. Do not use your notes, iPads or a dictionary. You will have 15 minutes to complete the reading assessment, and then the listening assessment should take around 15/20 minutes.

Once you have completed both papers, please can you take a photo/scan your papers onto OneNote under Unit 1 > Assessment > Reading Paper (for the reading) and > Listening Paper (for the listening).

Once your papers are uploaded to OneNote, you will find the mark scheme for the papers under the Content Library > Unit 1 > Assessment > Mark Scheme. Please go through the papers with your partner, marking them digitally on your iPad using a different colour.

I will go through and check the marks over half term anyway, but please do discuss the correct answers with your partner.

For the second half of the lesson you will be doing a fun activity (as it was rather mean to give you all a test on the final day of term!). You will be looking at Enrique Iglesias' song "Duele el corazón". You will find all resources under Unit 1 > 1.6 Ponte esta crema > Song Activity.

On this page there is a link to the song on YouTube and a gap fill exercise for the lyrics. Please listen to the song and try and to fill in the gaps. Once you have filled in the gaps, please translate all the words in the box on the right-hand side into English. If you have finished before the end of the lesson, please head on to Quizlet and revise vocabulary from Unit 1.
