I am very sorry, but I am not in school today, therefore will be missing our lesson - qué triste :(

Please can you work through the following in today's lesson:

1. Head to OneNote > Unit 9 > 9.1H Que tal el instituto > Notes. Read through the explanation of the imperfect tense and watch the video on thisislanguage.com via the link provided. We have already seen this tense, so it should just be a nice re-cap for you all. Please complete the exercises assigned to you on thisislanguage.com on the imperfect tense. - I will be checking you have completed these!!

2. Head back to Notes and read through the pictures and statements talking about primary school (using the imperfect tense). Translate these sentences into English.

3. Then, complete the 'repaso' slide, translating all the sentences again, into English.

4. On the next slide, match up the Spanish key vocab. to the English.

5. On the next slide, read the text. Then highlights/underline all the verbs in the different tenses as instructed. Then, complete the comprehension questions - remember if the questions are in Spanish you are also answering in Spanish!

6. On the next slide, fill in the gaps in the text with the correct words. Then, translate the text into English.

7. On the next slide, translate the text into Spanish.

8. Extension: On the next slide, there is a writing task - have a go at starting this, or at least planning what you might say and I can mark the plan/written work.

Please spend the last 5-10 minutes of the lesson self-checking and marking your work. You can find the answers on OneNote > Unit 9 > 9.1H Que tal el instituto > Las respuestas.
