Hallo Mädels,

I am conducting GCSE orals this morning, therefore I will not be in our lesson today. Please complete the following work:

1. 6.1 Starter - matching the German vocabulary with the English translation.
2. 6.1 Notes - read through the explanation of the imperfect tense again (under the translation about Hamburg). Then complete the next 3 slides with activities on the imperfect tense.
3. “Sprechen wir” do this slide aloud with your partner - trying to guess each other’s sentences (like in mind reader!)
4. Skip the next 3 slides, and move onto the slides with the conjugations of haben and sein, fill out the tables with the tenses we have learnt.
5. Finally, complete the translations on the last slide.
6. Check all your answers for the above and mark them by using the model answers on the content library.
7. 6.2 Key Terms - read through the sheet called key terms and familiarise yourselves with all the information
8. 6.2 Notes - remind yourself of how to form the perfect tense in German. Look at both the regular and irregular past participles. Translate the slide with the sentences and pictures (underneath the irregular past participles slide). Then, fill in the gaps on the next slide using the pictures. Finally, complete the plenary task where you conjugate the verb in the perfect tense according to the pronoun given.
9. 6.2 Perfect Tense worksheet - complete all activities.
10. Check all your answers for the above and mark them by using the model answers on the content library.
