Unfortunately I am away on a school trip today with Y8 so you will be having a cover lesson.

Please can you complete the following in today’s lesson:

1. OneNote > Kapitel 4 > 04 Im Klassenzimmer > Modal Verbs - complete this worksheet on modal verbs and the use of “man”. Translate the 5 sentences into English.

2. OneNote > Kapitel 4 > 04 Im Klassenzimmer > Notes - complete the reading task on tweets about school rules. There are 4 questions to answer in English. Then read the note about “es gibt” on the following slide.

3. OneNote > Kapitel 4 > 04 Im Klassenzimmer > Schulregeln  - complete the worksheet on school rules. The first exercise is a match up activity, the second is creating a list of good adjectives to describe school rules (use Leo to help you!), and the third is on the second page where you have to write a tweet about school rules. Use the examples from the reading exercise you’ve just done for inspiration.

If you finish all of this before the end of the lesson, please start to work on the extension work (also under 04 Im Klassenzimmer). It is a text about using prepositions in German.

For the last 10 minutes of the lesson you can play a blooket with vocabulary from Chapter 4. Hopefully the cover teacher will be able to set this up for you!
