Students will need the following items on their desk today for the ELA Lesson: iPad, pencil, headphones

Here is the ELA Lesson for Today:

1. On your desk: iPad, pencil, headphones

2. Use the Answer Key to the 'New Year's Hats for Statues" Open Response to correct your graphic organizer and paragraph. This answer key is posted as 'View Only' on the Part II. Study guide for the test Google Classroom assignment.

3. After correcting your theme graphic organizer and paragraph, submit your Theme Open Response work for "The Necklace" on Google Classroom.

4. Complete the assignment titled: Show, Don't Tell on Google Classroom. You can discuss what you learned from the 2 videos with a partner at your table.

5. If you finish everything listed above, you can begin brainstorming ideas for your Microfiction writing assignment. I will talk to you more about the Micofiction assignment next week. A microfiction is a short piece of fictionalized writing.

Homework: Review for Part II. of the Test-Open Response Part, which will happen on Tuesday, November 14th.
