Students will need the following items on their desks today for the ELA Lesson: iPad, pencil, headphones

Here is the ELA Lesson for Today:

1. Finish reading and recording breadcrumb notes for the "Defiance: Why it happens and what to do about it (age 5)" article.

2. Do not submit either article with your breadcrumb notes on Google Classroom. We will review our breadcrumb notes together, tomorrow, Friday.

3. Complete the Before Reading "Thank You, Ma'am" Quick Write. Please write at least a paragraph.

4. Start reading and listening to the short story, "Thank You, Ma'am". While you read, you will be asked to pause and respond to some inferencing questions. This is not homework. We will return to this work later on.

Homework: The "Defiance" article should be read and breadcrumbed by tomorrow, Friday. The Before Reading "Thank You, Ma'am" Quick Write needs to be completed and submitted on Google Classroom by tomorrow, Friday.
