Students should start by finishing the assignment titled: Introducing Persuasive Writing. This is posted on Google Classroom and they can submit this assignment once they have finished it.

After this, students should read/listen to the children's book: One Word From Sophia. There is a Google Doc with questions students need to respond to which is posted on Google Classroom.

After this, students can start working on the assignment in Google Classroom titled: Responding to Persuasive Writing and Choosing a Topic!

If students finish this and have time left over, I have posted a Persuasive Writing Choice Board on Google Classroom that they can refer to.
