Students will need the following items on their desks today for the ELA Lesson: iPad, pencil

Here is the ELA Lesson for Today:

1. As a table group, review the main ideas present in each paragraph for the article "Five Year Olds" Yardsticks. This is the article we read in class yesterday and students continued reading and breadcrumbing at home last night for homework.

2. There is a second article that students need to read and record breadcrumb notes for. This article is titled "Defiance: Why it happens and what to do about it (age 5)". This article is posted on our ELA Google Classroom.

3. Students should write their breadcrumb notes as a comment at the end of each paragraph. Students have added comments to a Google Doc in the past and should be familiar with this.

4. Students should read this article out loud together and agree on the breadcrumb note for the paragraph before jotting it down.

5. We will review students' breadcrumb notes to this article and the "Five Year Olds" article from Yardsticks when I am back in school tomorrow.
