Additional Info
- Translation: revise the translation for Chapters 26 and 41 (lines 12-38).
- Written Work: complete the written work on Chapter 41 (the questions are on OneNote).
- Complete your work in whichever way you complete exams (i.e. handwriting on paper or typing). If you type, please hand in a printed copy of your work.
- A reminder about the technique for 6- and 8-mark questions:
- Make three points (i.e. three concise paragraphs) for 6-mark questions and four points (i.e. four concise paragraphs) for 8-mark questions.
- In each paragraph:
- Make a point that answers the question.
- Support your point with a punchy Latin quotation (i.e. more than a single word but less than a line). Do not use ellipsis i.e. [...], unless commenting on words which make sense together, but have lots of words in between.
- Immediately translate your quotation in brackets.
- Analyse your quotation in reference to the question. Re-translate anything that you quote from the quotation.
- Timing:
- 6 marker = 10 minutes.
- 8 marker = 15 minutes.
- Use a timer. If you don't finish, don't worry; you will refine your speed and concision over the course.
