Date Due

Additional Info
  • Translation: revise the translation for Chapters 26 and 41 (lines 12-38).
  • Written Work: complete the written work on Chapter 41 (the questions are on OneNote).
  • Complete your work in whichever way you complete exams (i.e. handwriting on paper or typing). If you type, please hand in a printed copy of your work.
  • A reminder about the technique for 6- and 8-mark questions:
    • Make three points (i.e. three concise paragraphs) for 6-mark questions and four points (i.e. four concise paragraphs) for 8-mark questions.
    • In each paragraph:
      • Make a point that answers the question.
      • Support your point with a punchy Latin quotation (i.e. more than a single word but less than a line). Do not use ellipsis i.e. [...], unless commenting on words which make sense together, but have lots of words in between.
      • Immediately translate your quotation in brackets.
      • Analyse your quotation in reference to the question. Re-translate anything that you quote from the quotation.
    • Timing:
      • 6 marker = 10 minutes.
      • 8 marker = 15 minutes.
      • Use a timer. If you don't finish, don't worry; you will refine your speed and concision over the course.
