  1. I would like you to post-pare (the reverse of pre-pare) verse passages 7.16 and 7.17:
    • Review your translation and annotations.
    • Learn/ revise any items of vocabulary that you did not know.
    • Ensure that you understand the constructions used and how to manipulate the language.
    • Ensure that you are able to translate the passages quickly without notes.
    • I will give you a quiz on specific details from these passages.
  2. Pre-pare Sophocles Verse Translation 7.18:
    • Look up items of vocabulary that you do not know (including their principal parts).
    • If there are obvious constructions (e.g. conditionals) that occur in the passage, revise the theory.
    • Do not translate the passage. Do not look up a translation of the passage.
    • We will attempt it all together in class.
    • Write out and scan lines 10-11.
