salvete. I am very sorry not to be with you today. Please could you complete as many of the following tasks as possible in the time available.
- The cover teacher will give you a Virgil translation test to complete. Try your best and hand your paper to the cover teacher when finished.
- OneNote: 03. Grammar: 24. Adjectives:
- There are two ways to form adjectives (2-1-2 or 3rd declension). We'll discuss what this means next week. Write down the meaning of the 2-1-2 and 3rd declension adjectives on the worksheet.
- OneNote: 07. Prose Composition: Resources: 01. Prose Composition:
- Have a go at translating the 14 sentences into Latin.
- OneNote: 04. Stories: Passages: 23. Unseen - Latin Stories 14:
- On A4 file paper, translate the story into English.
- Write on alternate lines.
In the remaining time, you have a choice of activity:
- Revise the meaning of all the GCSE adjectives.
- Spend some time on your homework (8-mark Virgil question).
- Take a text book from the shelf (Latin to GCSE: Part 2). Attempt 11.1. These stories include all the GCSE vocabulary and structures, and are demanding. They are intended to be the hardest examples of GCSE Latin. Only attempt this if you would like a challenge.
