- Read Hesiod's 'Works and Days'. Highlight and annotate anything interesting that you learn about the nature of the Olympian gods and religious rituals.
- 20-Mark Essay:
- Produce a detailed plan (topic statements + close, detailed references to classical ideas/ sources) for the following essay:
- Are the gods of Homer and Hesiod admirable? Can you understand from the poems why people would want to worship them?
- If you have time, you can start writing the essay.
