  • Explain the role of women in the Iliad.

    • You may like to use the paragraph headings that we discussed in class [05. Themes: Women]
    • You may like to refer to the table in the Collaboration Space that we completed in class.
    • You should spend plenty of time planning the essay but should spend no more than 30 minutes writing it (45 minutes with 50% extra time).
    • In addition to an introduction indicating the line of argument that you will take and a conclusion, you should include at least four distinct paragraphs. 
    • In each paragraph, you should make at least two specific references to the text (e.g. very close paraphrase or quotations).
