You have two tasks to complete for cover this week.
1. Make an illustrated factfile about Africa in around the year 1600.
Add things that you have learned in class, read about in the textbook, and researched on your Ipad. This should be detailed, illustrated and well laid out. We will have a competition to see who has made the best factfile, and there will be positives given for effort.
You can make this factfile on your Ipad, but it needs to be printed out and glued into your exercise book for our History lesson on Thursday 11th October.
2. Make a detailed illustrated presentation of your chosen African civilisation
This will contain images, maps and reconstructions
It should also contain keywords and key details (but not much writing!)
It must be engaging and entertaining when you present it to the class.
Remember - this cover work is compulsory and will become homework if you do not complete it fully in class. If you do not make a significant effort, that will mean you have not done your homework.
