You have a few tasks to complete as I will not be in school on Monday or Tuesday this week.
TASK 1
Read the attached document titled 'Britain before 1066'. Using your knowledge of what a timeline should look like and the information it should include, construct a detailed timeline of British history. Start from 5000 years ago (p.11 in attached document) and go up to the Vikings (p.15 in attached document). You don't need to include everything - just the most important events that happened during that time. You should decorate this timeline with colour and illustrations.
TASK 2
Look at p.15 in the attached document. Under the title 'The Story of Britain up to 1066' in your exercise books, answer questions 1, 3 and 4a. Please write out the questions before answering each one, and skip a line between each answer.
