Please finish the 'Summary of American Intervention in Vietnam' (four boxes on hand out). Don't complete the section entitled 'Reasons for American Intervention' - this is a summary which we will complete in class. 

Instead, complete fully Section A of the second worksheet entitled 'Reasons for American Failure in Vietnam'. This must be finished fully for Friday's lesson as we will be having a debate on this topic then.

The information in the textbook is very useful, as is the information sheet provided in class. Please read both carefully.

Finally, I have attached a very interesting article about the Cuban Missile Crisis in case you wish to extend your knowledge about this event. This is optional.
