For your homework, could you please:

1. Prepare the Prose passage Zama (p.138 of Owen). Look up the translation and make sure you can piece it together. Make a note of all the vocab you don't know and spend time working out how it fits together.

2. Learn home, appearance, Human capacities and Abstract from your verse vocab list.

3. Revise scansion. I will give you some lines to scan as part of your review test. Please be ready to scan both hexameter and elegiac couplets.
