Task 1: Lady of Shalott glossary - continue on the glossary sheet for the LoS and look up the remaining words. Highlight these on your copy of the poem so you are looking at where the words appear. Does the line make more sense now knowing what this word means?

Task 2: In the 'Narrative Poetry' section on the content library, there is an outline map of the island of Shalott. You can either print and stick this into your book, or draw the island free hand. Using images and details from the poem, complete the map with things that we find: Camelot and the Lady of Shalott's tower are already on there, but you will need to add, for example, the river and fields. Label the map and add a quotation for key features, such as Camelot ('many-tower'd Camelot') or the trees ('Willows whiten, aspens quiver').
