Today we are going to practice Visualization. Visualizing means using descriptive words in order to make pictures/movies in our minds of what we are reading. It can help us to imagine how the characters or setting would look. If we don't understand something, we can use clue words to make a mental picture.


Let's practice! Read the small section of a story and identify some descriptive words in the passage. Then draw what you saw in your mind as you read the passage and its descriptive words.
