Revise and edit your stories for Voice and Conventions.

Voice - matches type of writing and shows your personality.
POV: 
  • 1st person - main character tells the story, "I" narrator.
  • 2nd person - puts reader in the story, "You" narrator
  • 3rd person 
    - Limited: to the main character, view the action through the eyes of the main character
    - Objective: view through multiple characters but make switch obvious, He/She/It narrator
    - Omniscient: narrator knows all, not limited to only what one character knows
Conventions
Capitals - names, places, "I", titles, etc
Organization - first line is indented, new line for dialogue, complete sentences
Punctuation - periods, exclamation points, question marks, quotations, etc.
Spelling - use a dictionary to check spelling
