2. Use the planning sheet - how are the poems similar and different in the way they approach powerful feelings? Fill in the box.

3. Now, what is a universal truth that we realise about powerful feelings? Think about how Lawrence doesn’t want to cry- why is that? Fill in the box.

4. Now use the paragraph plan boxes and try to come up with some topic sentences. Add the quotations you would use in. 

5. Finally, now you have your notes and a full planning sheet, write the introduction. This is where you set up the thesis or line of argument. I want you to copy the phrasing we used when we planned memory. 

6. Hand in the sheet of planning fun and the introduction. The introduction will be 6-8 lines.
