We worked on tempo today.  1) Fire up to M 29 - Work with the metronome. Start slow and speed up. Post here in the comment section your top speed for the day when you practice. Add another comment when you practice again!!  We will see who gets the top speed!!!   - Work on the dynamics. Notice the accent as well as the surprise changes. no crescendo until Measure 20!!  All other ones are sudden changes.  2) Penny - 2nd violin, keep working on the beginning. Play it lower in the bow.   - Memorize the part starting at  M49. You can also work to memorize the whole song!!   3) Thailand - Keep working on the dynamics from M32 to 50  - Viola - Work on the part at 50. learn the 3rd position. Listen to your pitch! - didn't work on this in class, but practice 77 to 96.  the pizzicato sections! This would be another "start slow and speed up" spot!!
