Thank you to Mrs George, who has agreed to orchestrate your presentations on passages from Aeneid XII in her lesson on Wednesday 8 May.

In preparation for this, please thoroughly prepare your allocated passage, avoiding the passage that was examined in 2023 (lines 713-727). Please could you confirm with Mrs George which passages you will present. The only one that I wrote down in today's lesson was Will (87-106).

You should:

• Pick out the quotations that you would use in response to the 15-mark question in the revision pack (I gave you a hard copy before Easter and there is a digital copy on OneNote).
• Explain the context of the passage to the rest of the class.
• Identify the features of style (choice, position, sound of words) and content that you would analyse.
• Explain what you (dis)like about your allocated passage.
• Feel free to make it visual, but the most important ingredient will be your rigorous knowledge of your allocated passage.
