I will be in the first 30 minutes of our lesson on Monday, but the rest of the lesson will be a cover lesson.

Once I have gone, please complete the following:

1. Read sheets 01, 02 and 03 in the Oedipus Tyrannos folder, which give some more background information to the play. (15 mins)

2. Under ‘Scanned Annotations’ in the Oedipus Tyrannos folder, look through my annotations for the Prologue (lines 1-168) and copy up any extra notes you wish to add to your own annotations. (20 mins)

3. In the Written Work folder, under Oedipus 10 Markers, read through the first question. Think about which points you might make and add any annotations (5 points for a 10 marker). Then read the model answer, and try to identify what this response does well and why it would score highly. (15 mins)
