Please populate the character profiles for the following characters with evidence from Books 1 and 2 this week:

- Aeneas

- Dido

- Anna

- Ascanius

- Venus

- Juno

- Jupiter

You should aim to find at least 4-5 quotations per character, and link them into a particular character trait (see my example on Aeneas' page on OneNote). Templates are on OneNote under 'Resources' - Character Profiles. You can plan in a different way if you would prefer!

Please also create an essay plan for the title 'to what extent is Book 6 a turning point in the Aeneid'?

You could think about:

- invocation of the muses

- programmatic statements in Book 1 and 7

- similarities between Books 1 and 7

- Odyssey vs Iliad

- people whom Aeneas has left behind

- Aeneas' character development

- the parade of heroes in the Underworld
