Please complete the 10 marker on Book 4 - the Rumour passage.

Please then start to compile a plan (with points and quotations from the text) on the importance of divine intervention in the Aeneid so far (Books 1, 2 and start of 4).

How important are divine interventions and influence within the Aeneid? Think about their impact on the characters and the plot. Key gods and goddesses to think about:

- Juno

- Jupiter

- Venus

- Mercury

- Cupid

Also worth a small mention:

- Aeolus (not a god but imbued with divine power)

- Neptune

- Athene (not actively involved but her name is important in the reasons for taking the Horse into Troy)

Aim to find 7/8 points from what we have read so far.
