For homework this week, please create a curse tablet (defixio) in the manner of the Romans. This needs to be created in physical form, not electronic!

• Focus on presentation and make it look like a curse tablet in some way (using card, or cardboard, etc.).
• Be creative with the magical elements - use magic words, mirror-writing, write the whole thing backwards, or in capitals, add in Greek letters, etc.
• Curse a fictional person and make sure their name is appropriately Latin or Greek-sounding.
