Sorry that I am not with you all today as I am out in St. Albans with Year 7. During the lesson, please complete the following:

1) Go to Chapter 5 - Language Exercises - Exercise 5.10. Using the answer sheet on the Content Library, check your answers to the sentences you completed. Just check the ones you did, don't continue with the sheet! This should take you roughly 5 minutes.

2) Distribute the textbooks at the back of the room - there should be enough for one between two to use for reference.

3) Navigate to Chapter 5 - Stories - 5.11 Death of a Charioteer. This is also on page 166 of the textbook.

4) On a lined piece of paper, and double line spacing your translation, translate the story onto your Pukka pad. You should work independently in silence - get into your own translation zone and see how much you can do! No headphones allowed - concentrate on the Latin in front of you and watch out for these new present participles!

5) Once finished, or when the lesson ends, take a photo of your work and upload it into the same space on OneNote - Chapter 5 - Stories - 5.11 Death of a Charioteer.

 

6) If you finish early, please go to Chapter 5 - Extension Work - Grammar Hunt p165. Have a go at finding all of the things it asks you to spot and make a note of these on your OneNote page.
