Sorry that I cannot be in our lesson today - I am out of school on a school trip.

Please complete the following during the lesson. Please distribute the textbooks at the start of the lesson to help you with the tasks. You should complete these as independently as possible, using a working whisper if you desperately need to ask someone nearby a question.

(1) Go to Chapter 2 - Culture and Context - 03 Aeneas Worksheet. Follow the instructions to complete the various tasks on the sheets (you will need to do some research as part of this!) I expect you all to finish the green and yellow tasks before the end of the lesson.

(2) Continue on to the pink task on the sheet.

(3) Then, if you finish all of this (wow!) then head to your Chapter 2 - Vocabulary section. Use the vocab list on page 50 and/or the '01' list in that Vocab section to help you with the next task! Go to 02 Derivations sheet, and aim to complete the sheet!

(4) If you do that too - very impressive! Spend any remaining time starting to learn the Chapter 2 vocabulary on page 50.

I will be checking in to see how you all go on later in the afternoon and then we'll go through all of this in our lesson on Tuesday.
