Your first two tasks this lesson are the following:
A.) Photograph each page in your ESA sketchbook and upload to our portfolio upload section in Showbie, you will see a new ESA folder. This is so we can see the progress you make over the Easter break and to allow us to re read and check your annotation and artist research is all your own writing.
B.) can you make a list of all incomplete work from your ordinary/extraordinary project on the blank pages on the recent generic Easter checklist in our Showbie class. If you need to get your books out of the folders in the cupboard behind my desk (you know where they are) to check what is still to be finished is fine, just make sure everything goes back carefully. This is so I can gauge that you only need to focus on the ESA over Easter and that there is enough time following the exam to complete the coursework unit, or that you may have to dedicate some time to the coursework tasks.
When you have done these two vital jobs above please make sure that you are fully prepared for the Easter break:
1. Everything printed out to complete essential sketch book pages.
2. Begin to gather materials/media for work to be completed at home.
3. Work on essential tests this week that you are not able to do at home and you need the studios. I.e etching, cyanotypes etc.
4. Make sure all new photography is collated for your final idea - THIS IS VITAL!
5. Make detailed notes on the Showbie checklist unique to your project.
Thursday is our last lesson, we only have one week after Easter and this is dedicated to printing out final images and prepping canvases, paper etc. NOT LONG! This week is vital for final ideas and thoughts to be firmed up.
I will open up the store cupboard at the beginning of the lesson.
