In this lesson I would like you to do your artist research. Please go to our Journeys folder and go to assignment no. 8 Artist Research and follow the guide - please ignore that it says it is a two week homework - you are going to complete this in class instead!

In the presentation you will see a variety of good exemplars to see what is required for this task and different layouts. Remember to read the instructions clearly on the guidelines, the most important paragraph of your research is the final one, your opinion of their work and why you have selected them to link to your own concept you are following for the theme of Journey.

This research can be digital or presented directly into your sketchbook.

Ext: If you finish, please make a sustained and detailed study of the most relevant piece of artwork by your artist directly in your sketchbook. It should fill an A4 page and use colour if your artist does. If your artist is a sculptor, then you must still do a drawing of their 3D work as best you can.
