Please go to assignment no.5 Artist Research in our Showbie Class for Ceramic Vessels. You will be doing written research about your favourite ceramic artist to help you discover more about them and their work.

Go to the presentation and follow the guide carefully, choose ONE artist only! Do not do all three!

You can do this digitally, or in your sketchbook, follow the layout and headings in my guide. You can use the internet to find out more about their work and to get your images. Look carefully at the key words in red at the bottom of the guide and use these in your writing and think about them in relation to your artist. Your opinion is the most important part of your writing, use the formal elements in red when writing this paragraph.

EXT: If you finish your written work in class, I would like you to do a detailed drawing of your favourite vessel by your artist that fills an A4 page directly in your sketchbook. Make sure it fills the page, you should add colour using the water colours or coloured pencils provided.

EXT (2): If you finish your drawing of your artist's vessel, select another vessel by your artist and make a digital drawing of their vessel using a digital app of your choice. Try to pick something that is quite different from your first picture.
