Dear Y9s, apologies for another cover, luckily you can have a practical lesson as our art technician Mrs Hardesty will be with you for the whole lesson. Remember to think about your colour choices carefully for your second cut when printing, line up carefully and don’t print upside down! Make sure your wet prints go on the drying rack, if you are cutting in the lesson remember the bench hooks and to be super careful with the Lino tools, non cutting hand always behind the blade! Keep turning the Lino around so you always cut away from your body. When printing make sure you have the right amount of ink, too much and you will fill in your lines, too little and you will have a faint print. If you are unsure if you have cut enough away for your second or third cut, the general rule is about 50% more of the Lino, do a quick print and see what it looks like on a print you are not happy with. Remember the less you cut away the more you will cover up your previous colour with your new colour.
