You should collect and present first hand imagery and photographs in your sketchbook to inform your first artist visual response. This will follow the pages on your formal written research and images you would have presented on this Artist. You may need to use the photography area upstairs in the A Level studio, book in some friends to be models, bring in objects or go somewhere specific depending on the ideas you have to respond to your artist. If you have collected these already over the half term you should present them in your sketchbook and begin small tests and studies to help you complete your first response. Your tests and small studies can be in your sketchbook but the final response will be bigger and out of your book. These outcomes are vital as you begin to address A04 and A01 much more comprehensively with this work.
