Lesson work:

Sorry to not be with you today. I have a bad cold.

1) Scan your Globalisation and Migration tests into One Note. 

2) Then read through the Mark Scheme and MA with Mr Partridge.

3) Some materials are uploading under IGCSE prep. there are advice sheets, practice questions, model answers etc. One Note isn't syncing properly right now for me at home but they will appear! Spend some time considering how you are going t use them and work on a revision timetable.

Comments on the test 6 marker and 12 marker: well done at your first go through these to timed conditions! I saw a very good effort here and alot of hard work had gone into prep.

6 marker: Some of you clued into the wording of the question  ie the word 'role' very well. If you didn't pick up on this and instead tried to rank the 3 TNCs it was usually a level one answer. Key point: answer the question set not the one you wished it was!

12 marker: Again a very good effort here, although some timing issues meant many didn't write enough. Don't overwrite on the 6 marker or any others. The main thing to improve on is the structure; structure according to your own knowledge and the argument rather than Fig a and Fig b. A great structure would have been economic, social and environmental impacts (advs and disadvs and weigh up using own knowledge and resources.) OR benefits vs costs. However there were great definitions used and much better use of the quote marks from the resource than last time, with appropriate A03/ interpretation.
