Date Due

Additional Info
Write a soliloquy for a lord returning from Macbeth's banquet (Act III). At the beginning of the soliloquy, have him establish clearly his point of view (a guest at Macbeth's banquet). Then, have your character relate the events he has seen and explain why they are important. What did he see? What did he hear? What was he thinking while the action unfolded before him?

BEFORE WRITING: Reread Act III, Scene iv. List Macbeth's most striking words and actions, your lord's reactions, and possible sensory details of the scene. Use this as a springboard for the lord's soliloquy.

AFTER WRITING: Reread your soliloquy to strengthen its figurative language.Replace words and phrases that sound too literal with imaginative comparisons or word pictures.  to make your writing come alive so that the reader can experience what you experienced as you watched Macbeth's strange behavior.
