A. Do Now: page 397 #2

B. Today we will complete Act 5 of “Macbeth”. 
-You will use the link (Macbeth Act 5 Lecture) under Resources to listen to a lecture on Act 5.
-You may begin watching the lecture up to minute 17.23, because up to that point he will be discussing what we read last class.
- STOP at minute 17.23 where it says “Read Selection”, and READ SCENE iv. PLEASE READ THE SCENE before continuing the video lecture.
- Continue in this way, until you have read all the remaining scenes and listened to the entire lecture. The video will tell you when to read the next scene.

C. After you have completed the play, answer the following questions:
1. What role does Lady Macbeth play in Macbeth’s choice of evil. Give evidence by quoting from the play. Remember to cite Act, scene, and line. (THIS RESPONSE SHOULD BE AT LEAST ONE PARAGRAPH IN LENGTH)
2. How does Macbeth’s tragic flaw lead him to disaster? b) Once Macbeth kills Duncan, can he turn back? Why or why not? (You must first identify his tragic flaw, giving evidence to support your choice, THEN show how it leads to disaster. ALWAYS show support from the play) THIS RESPONSE SHOULD BE AT LEAST TWO PARAGRAPHS IN LENGTH.
